Chop Suey Faith

Chop Suey means assorted pieces. It is a popular dish  widely believed to have been invented in America by Chinese immigrants, but in fact comes from Taishan (Toisan), a district of Guangdong Province (Canton), which was the home of many of the early Chinese immigrants to the U.S. The Hong Kong doctor Li Shu-fan reported that he knew it in Taishan in the 1890s.

   In religion too there is what we also call chop suey. Mixing all beliefs together to form A Single Unified Ideology or One World Religion. 
   The ushering of New Age Thinking that in everything or the whole universe itself we can find an aspect of God, a Universal Consciousness common on all living things, in fact if we accept sub-atomic principle base on science that  everything is controlled by a singular force therefore God can be found everywhere.

   The best lies are those base on truth. This attack was one of the most widely used tactics by demons. They get a little truth here, and a little scriptural basis there...and yet in the end is going to lead you to death. 

   Can we really find God in everything? Then why Jesus said, "Seek first the Kingdom of God..."?

  I think it would be easier to find God if Jesus point out that in everything, just look around you...there is God. But why bother the searching? 

   

Aspect and Presence of God

   Let me clarify that an aspect is not the same as presence. Aspect can be define as part,nature, or quality. It is obviously not the same as presence. 

  You see,we might be dead by now if we stand in the presence of God. Remember how the prophets collapse, faint, and tremble in fear when ever the presence of God appear. 
   You see how St. John shakes in front of an angel,? How much more if it is God himself talking to him? Daniel even felt very weak after he had a conversation with God. There are many instances in the Bible that the mere presence of God can actually kill.

   In fact, the Israelite was so afraid to go near God that they don't want to be with Moses in Mt. Sinai when God wrote from His own hand the 10 Commandments. They have experience how terrible  and powerful just hearing  the voice of YHWH. 

   Let us go back to our topic. Mixing of Faith. Is it true that all faith lead to God? 

   Let us not forget the first commandment of God. "I am the Lord thy God, you shall have no other God before me." I knew a lot of people who claimed to be Christians have many "before me..." in their altars. They go to an image of San Isidro Labrador for good harvest, they kneel in front Immaculate heart of Mary, then to Madonna and Child, Dance to Santa Clara for fertility, and San Lazarus to pray for wound. It is ironic when you look at the statue of San Lazarus, there he is showing his wound and one finger pointing upward as if saying "Look! I can't even heal my wound, go pray to God."


   Even early Christians like Paul also observe this kind of synchronized faith when he visited Athens. While he stroll the avenues and streets of Athens, he notice different kind of worships and faith co-existing, living and mingling with each other. He was even surprised when he saw a catch-all faith.   

²²Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars' hill, and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious.
 ²³For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you. - Acts 17

   An Earlier observation  Paul notice that this people are so deep in idolatry...

¹⁶Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was stirred in him, when he saw the city wholly given to idolatry.

 All gods are gods?
   Although the Athenian seems to be religious and maybe god-fearing people, they are at lost. Paul saw the opportunity for the openness of these people to the concept of God but are lost, so he decided to catch their attention to an already established faith. He introduce "THE UNKNOWN GOD" they ignorantly worship. Sadly, even in our present generation still Many people worship God that way. 
   To illustrate further, most people knew some part of the qualities of God, they believed he is omnipotent, omniscient, and everything...but personally they don't know Him. They are called agnostics...generally speaking, most people on this planet are agnostics. Unknowingly, a lot of us, including me can be classified as agnostic. Having somewhat a little understanding about God, we know He exist, He is there somewhere in Heaven, and so on...
    So perhaps, for safety and security, just to be sure they pray to all kinds of God just like the Athenian. Is this kind of faith correct or will guarantee our salvation?

I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! 

Since you are lukewarm and neither hot nor cold, I am going to spit you out of my mouth. -- Revelations 3:15-16

The Matrix of this World

They are lying...they manipulate the history books.

We live in a Matrix...there is a whole different world out there. 

   In the movie Matrix starred by Keanu Reeves, his character Neo discover or was being guided to see the real world...it was a shocking discovery to learn that mankind's whole existence was just manufactured experiences--that all of us were just slumbering puppet induces with images or fake life to serve highly intelligent beings.

    After many years of research...since I've surrendered my life to Jesus, I've come to the realization that there is a grain of truth in that film. That a great number of humans were actually duped and unaware of what was really going on. It is a bit strange to discover that most fable are actually truth and most of what we learn from history were just fabricated lies to serve an elite class or to pin point the real source: Satan, the deceiver. 

Isaiah 6:9 He said, "Go and tell this people: "'Be ever hearing, but never understanding; be ever seeing, but never perceiving."

The Power of Media   
   Strangely, Hollywood Blockbuster movies had been one of the best source of many of my discoveries...as if the devil himself is itching to announce his activities; like a proud performer basking on his achievements. 
   Actually the mass-media had been a potent source or tools to induces satanic propaganda. Obviously, idolatry is a common indoctrination process to the worldly initiations...

Shocked by The Bible?
   My first reaction, perhaps anyone who had his first "real" reading of the Holy Bible was utter amazement. An awestruck feeling of defeat, as if I've been bash on my head, hurt that the respected authority whom I come to love were actually liars or was duped themselves. 
   It can't be right that my love ones and close friends are living in a Matrix. 




    You can't handle the truth!!! *Spiritual Blindness


     "You have the luxury of not knowing what I know..." Jack Nicholson on the film A Few Good Man was a reverberating rhetoric since I've first heard it. Should I just keep the truth? 

1 Timothy 2:4 who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.

    There are times that I was being hurt too by the process. But rejoice when the world ridicules you or call you idiots for being brainwashed fanatics. Just remember that some men can't handle the truth, someone try to say it but they nailed Him to the cross. 

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. -- Ephesian 6:12

   Now, I've learn to totally trust God and not my own understanding. 
  When I begin this blog in 2010, the vision was simple...to understand the truth. I have taken to heart a fear I don't want to happen in me...to be misled. I begun Wisdom of a Fool actually after my blog The Armor of God...after realizing there are still many things I should reaffirm before sharing the good news. I became a fool after learning the wisdom of God...in truth, just a tiny portion of that wisdom was enough to bend my knees. 

Proverbs 3:5-6

 ⁵ Trust in the LORD with all your heart

   and lean not on your own understanding;

⁶ in all your ways submit to him,

   and he will make your paths straight.

    My knowledge are nothing, actually all knowledge are nothing without God.

     My people are being destroyed for lack of knowledge. -- Hosea 4:6


   Can you feel the sadness of God's voice when He said that? He is our Father, and He don't want us, his children to die this way...to die without a clue. 
   Let us not take the Bible as a simple narrative or just a beautiful collections of literature. Remember this is God's message...He is speaking to us.  

   There are many very dedicated men and women out there who will try to convert you with what they think are wisdom, in fact they claim to be divine by origins. They will even kill or die for these purposes. They will commit terrorism just to stress their point! They will even commit suicide as act of faith. They will twist the Gospel to serve their purpose. Do I have to be a Hermit?
    The challenge now is to separate the hoax that abounds all around us. We need a paradigm shift but not to forget sanity. You don't need to literally exclude yourself from the World or mass-media. We just have to be aware. Watchful and vigilant. Be wise as a serpent but gentle as a dove. You don't need to pack your things and go to the mountains to separate yourselves from this dangerous world.  
   Actually, the more you learn the truth, the more you should be in the world. The world needs you. You are salt of the world.
    I always believed that SINCERITY will lead us to God. To sincerely surrender to the voice of God. To SEEK His kingdom and His Righteousness. Ask for the Holy Spirit, and it shall be given. 

² Then the LORD replied:   “Write down the revelation
   and make it plain on tablets
   so that a herald may run with it.
³ For the revelation awaits an appointed time;
   it speaks of the end
   and will not prove false.
Though it linger, wait for it;
   it will certainly come
   and will not delay. --Habakkuk 2

  People will not waste their time on these...but I cared to investigate...hoping that someone will take heed...to escape the matrix.

 ²⁰ Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? We fed them all our indecisions
We wrecked their minds with television

Are Dreams Messages from GOD?

Dreams or Visions are often used interchangeably in Scriptures as mentioned here..."In a dream, a vision of the night..." (Job 33:15) It is a common human experience where our mind sees images and even hears audible sound within the mind during sleep. Although Visions can be experience even during normal awaken  moment like that of John's experience when he wrote The Book of Revelations.

   The question now would be, does God still send message to us via dreams?    

   I personally believe that during sleep our subconscious takes over. This is our spiritual self waking up while our physical body rest. This personal aspect is more attune to the Spirit Realm...so here we can directly access the Heavenly dimension. So we can received message from God easier here over the material matrix our conscious self are more aware. 

    In the Old testament God declared that HE speak through dreams and Visions

And He said, "Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream" (Num. 12:6).

"I have also spoken by the prophets, and I have multiplied visions, and used similitudes, by the ministry of the prophets" (Hos. 12:10).

 

3.       In the New Testament, for our generation, HE affirms sending message by the same means... 

"And it shall come to pass in the last days," saith God, "I will pour out of My Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams" (Acts 2:17).

        Are these dreams therefore specifically for prophets only? Does GOD give advises or counselling in dreams? 

I will bless the Lord who has counseled me; Indeed, my mind (inner man) instructs me in the night (Ps. 16:7 NASB).

For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed; Then He openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction, That He may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man. He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword (Job 33:14-18, emphasis mine).

 

6.        God does very significant things WITHIN dreams. For example, He established the Abrahamic Covenant in a dream.

And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him....And God said to Abram....In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying... (Gen. 15:12,13,18).

 

7.    God grants supernatural gifts THROUGH dreams.

 The LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream by night: and God said, "Ask what I shall give thee...."

"Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge Thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this Thy so great a people?"
"...Behold, I have done according to thy words: lo, I have given thee a wise and an understanding heart; so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after thee shall any arise like unto thee...." And Solomon awoke; and, behold, it was a dream (I Kings 3:5,9,12,15).

    So I think, we should pay more attention to our dreams...GOD gives His instructions, advises, and counsel through dreams.

 Dreams Interpretations

   The gift of understanding dreams have to be learned, or I should say we should ask God for the wisdom to interpret dreams. Would God send as message only to confuse us? No. We can discern these dreams if we focus on it. But there are special people gifted with this talent...to interpret dreams like Joseph.

   If we notice Joseph's character, he pay special attention to dreams. He tell others about his dreams...Practice makes him an expert in dreams. Perhaps, this same focus is needed for us to decipher our own dreams. We need to contemplate on our dreams...

   God loves a critical thinker. I've notice this how Jesus uses parable to site examples or to answer questions. Before Jesus said the plain message, he employ symbolism or parallel image to stress the point. Parable was used by Jesus to illustrate profound, heavenly things or divine truths. It is like using visual aid to teach his disciple.

   God created us in His image, with the same nature of using imaginations or being creative. He liked to stretch our imaginations...

So the Devil may not know

   Here is something that I just theorized, the Bible uses symbols for prophesy so that demons will not understand them. Like a secret code He uses in our dreams. Oh this is not a theology I am proposing here, I am just using my imagination too. Only those, that pay special attention to His word will understand...only those that truly love Him will be able to hear. 

‘Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, And seeing you will see and not perceive; For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.’ But blessed are your eyes, because they see; and your ears, because they hear. For truly I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it" (Matthew 13:10-17).

    Spiritual Blindness happens to those who continually ignores Jesus words. That same principle is applied to dreams. We wont understand dreams as message if we have no relationship to the Father.  

   When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.-- John 16:13

   If The Lord Jesus willing I will be discussing more about dreams and visions. How to interpret this succession of images...

CAUTION ON DREAMS

   By the way, there is also a Warning with regards to dreaming. Be careful in listening to another persons dream...

^Deuteronomy 13:1 If a prophet, or one who foretells by dreams, appears among you and announces to you a sign or wonder, ² and if the sign or wonder spoken of takes place, and the prophet says, “Let us follow other gods” (gods you have not known) “and let us worship them,” ³ you must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer. The LORD your God is testing you to find out whether you love him with all your heart and with all your soul. ⁴ It is the LORD your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him. ⁵ That prophet or dreamer must be put to death for inciting rebellion against the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt and redeemed you from the land of slavery. That prophet or dreamer tried to turn you from the way the LORD your God commanded you to follow. You must purge the evil from among you.

    Isn't that prophet Edgar Cayce, the sleeping prophet? Anyway, that is another topic. So far, there are no warning in interpreting personal dreams...but there are many caution given when listening to another dreams.

1 The word of the Lord came to me: 2 Mortal, prophesy against the prophets of Israel who are prophesying; say to those who prophesy out of their own imagination: "Hear the word of the Lord!"3 Thus says the Lord God, Alas for the senseless prophets who follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing! 4 Your prophets have been like jackals among ruins, O Israel. 5 You have not gone up into the breaches, or repaired a wall for the house of Israel, so that it might stand in battle on the day of the Lord. 6 They have envisioned falsehood and lying divination; they say, "Says the Lord," when the Lord has not sent them, and yet they wait for the fulfillment of their word! 7Have you not seen a false vision or uttered a lying divination, when you have said, "Says the Lord," even though I did not speak? -- Ezekiel 13:1-7  

Zechariah 10:2
  For the idols have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen a lie, and have told false dreams; they comfort in vain: therefore they went their way as a flock, they were troubled, because there was no shepherd.

Jeremiah 27:9

   Therefore hearken not ye to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreamers, nor to your enchanters, nor to your sorcerers, which speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon:

"'In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Acts 2:17

How Well You Know Your God?

I can't believe that a church worker would comment on my son's name like this "It's a girls name...why name him like that?" What!?! It was a total shock for me!!! She don't know one of the most famous Biblical Prophet? This lady was not familiar with Elijah -- One of the only two human that does not experience death and have the same honor like Moses to be with Jesus during her transfiguration...

   It's hard to believe someone calling herself Christian, more so a church worker, ignorant of The Scriptures. I was talking here of an active member in their church. That's what they get in praying blah blah blah...they can even pray in Latin but they don't really put in hearts what they are saying. Hail Mary full of grace blah blah blah...they even calloused their knees as they parade at the center aisle going to the altar. 

   Suddenly, I got the chill...when I realized afterwards...how about the ordinary church-goer in their congregation? Does it mean they are just Blind Followers?This is exactly what Jesus described "Blind leading another blind..." (Luke 6:39) 

   They don't have the chance to stand against Satan. Satan can quote scriptures better than these leaders for sure. 

   GOD HATES IGNORANCE!!!!

   Aside from God's offer of salvation, one of Jesus Christ main concerns is to educate mankind about God. 

I tell you the truth, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony.-- John 3:11

   That is simple. You can not speak something you don't know. You can not talk about God if you are not aware of the Word. Jesus is the word made flesh and dwell among us. In fact Jesus' famous tagline: "I am the way, the truth, and the life..." is the very essence of our faith. 

    You can not reach the father without the way...and who is the way?

     JESUS! 

    And who is Jesus? The Word! 

    God want to reveal himself. THE TRUTH! He want to tell us the truth. God does not support "mysteries"!!! If your church mention so many mysteries better leave that church. 

   If God does not want to reveal Himself, then He would have not inspired the writing of the Bible.

   If your church leader told you not to read the Bible then leave that church very quick. Did they warn you that you can not understand it or fathom the depth of its message...that you must trust their interpretation because they are chosen by God...they attend Bible Schools, they spend many years in seminary, they have their collar...only them can interpret for you? 

   Here's what you do. Put this word in their faces...

   1 John 4:1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

   How to Test???

   God want the full, complete, and uncensored version of the Truth. There is NO commandment against reading the Word of God. In fact, everyone is encourage to meditate on it day and night. 

    Come to me all of you who are tired and weary and I will give you rest!!! Rest where? In the Church?!!!! They don't even allow you to sleep during sermon. You rest in God's word!!! 

    No one is allowed to rest in the church. That is why going to church is  called Service!!! 

   Go and read the Word! You will not be accused of Heresy. That's what the false religion brand to people who study the Bible. Heretics. They have killed people for simply reading the Bible. If you don't believe me, check the history of churches. 

   They want you to be ignorant of their evil work. 

   God was pleased to see men and women inquiring, double-checking, and even scrutinizing the Bible. After all, He is God, would He worry that you discover something not right written inside? Only those hiding something will prevent you from reading the Bible.

   Don't Trust your Eternal Destiny on People. Religion, Group, Government or close friend, and family can not save you.  In the end your church affiliation does not matter!!!

   I suggest that you wear the full Armor of God...

Eph 6:10-17 (NIV) ...Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armour of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armour of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled round your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

 

Pope as Vicar of Christ

   Let me quote Catechism of the Catholic Church

882 The Pope, Bishop of Rome and Peter's successor, "is the perpetual and visible source and foundation of the unity both of the bishops and of the whole company of the faithful. "For the Roman Pontiff, by reason of his office as Vicar of Christ, and as pastor of the entire Church has full, supreme, and universal power over the whole Church, a power which he can always exercise unhindered.

   But who really is the one to take the place of Christ Jesus while he is away? Let us hear from Jesus himself to whom he is giving the office. Who will be his representative?

   We can read that on John 16:7-8 

⁷Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. ⁸And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

   Now the papacy claims a position similar to this comforter. But who is the comforter really? Is he the pope? The Vicar of Christ? Vicar means "representative" by the way...

   The Greek word for Comforter is “parakletos”.  The most familiar translation of this Greek word is “Comforter,” but a better translation is Counselor or Advocate, as in a legal sense.  However, I will use Comforter since it is the most familiar translation.

   Below are the New Testament texts concerning the Comforter.

JOHN 14:15-17:  "If you love me you will obey what I command.  And I will ask the Father and He will give you another Comforter to be with you forever - the Spirit of Truth.  The world cannot accept him because it neither sees him nor knows him.  But you know him for he lives with you and will be in you."

JOHN 14:25, 26:  "All this I have spoken while still with you.  But the Comforter, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you."

JOHN 15:26:  "When the Comforter comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father, he will testify about me."

JOHN 16:13-15:  "But when he, the Spirit of Truth comes, he will guide you into all truth.  He will not speak on his own, he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.  He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it know to you.  All that belongs to the Father is mine.  That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is mine and make it known to you."

   Does it give you the chill that the Pope claims the office of The Holy Spirit? 

   The Unpardonable sin!!!

Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will NOT be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come. -- Matthew 12:32

John 14:18

I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
