CAN YOU DEFEND YOUR FAITH?

The sad truth is most Christians can't even defend their faith because they themselves are ignorant of God's word.

Don't let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ. -- Colossians 2:8

Conflict of Judaism, Islam and Christianity plus other beliefs

Judaism, Islam and Christians all revered Abraham. When Abraham fathered Ishmael by his wife's handmaid, Hagar,  the greatest conflict in history begun. We know that Sarah, his wife somehow consented the birth of Ishmael because at first she was barren. But all of these changed when she too bore a son, Isaac. Ishmael's descendants include a large part of the Arab peoples, while Isaac through his son Jacob is the ancestor of the Israelite. The rivalry of these two half-brothers continued down to our generations, aggravated by religious differences.
The Arab-Jewish conflict remains the greatest threat to peace in the Middle East, plus an additional  volatile concoction with the Christians. All these faith had a long standing love-hate relationships that at any moment could burst into a major upheaval.
Within these Three Major Faith there are also divided beliefs within their followers Islam is divided into Sunni and Shiite branches goes back shortly after the death of the prophet Mohammad in A.D. 632 and centers on who are the rightful successors. About 85% of Muslims are Sunni, but some countries in the Middle East are predominantly Shiite, notably Iran, Yemen, and Bahrain. While they are at times at peace, centuries of dislike and distrust between the two sometimes breaks out into violence, like we have witnessed in Iraq from recent years.
On the other hand, Judaism had its own differences mainly divided as Reform, Conservative, and Orthodox Jews. Some of these conflict had been around even during the time of Jesus, Remember how the apostle reacted when they saw Jesus talking alone to a Samaritan woman in John chapter 4."The Jews of that time treated the Samaritan’s like outcasts. They even called them dogs. For Jesus to talk to a woman alone was considered improper. Since she was a Samaritan, it compounded the offense. However, that didn’t keep Jesus from this divine appointment." (Woman of the Bible by Diane Sagan)  Jewish faith had its own conflict from within the same with those people who call themselves Christians. Christianity in like manner was also divided into various denomination. There are those who call themselves Orthodox, Catholics, Protestant, Baptist, Mormons and so on and so forth. Catholics on its own is also divided which are considered break-away Catholics like Apostolic Catholic Church, Philippine Independent Church, Old Catholic Church, etc. The same with Protestantism like Baptist, Methodist, Lutherans and etc.
Now perhaps you are confused already, and that is why there is conflict in the world today. Not to mention other faith such as Hinduism, Buddhism, Scientology and Atheism (It is a form of Faith too) who in their own confines have differences needed to be resolved too.
We can further classify differences base on how they see God. Their form of practices and traditions.
Polytheist--these are people who believed in MANY GODS. They are also called Pagan. Like Druids, Hinduism and Catholics are considered pagan because they worship idols like Mary and the Saints (including fictional Saints).
Monotheist--these are people  who believed there is only ONE GOD. Islam and some Christian Churches. But what Muslim did not know is the origin of Allah is from  Arab paganism too.Not many Muslims want to accept that Allah was already being worshipped at the Ka'ba in Mecca by Arab pagans before Muhammad came.
In fact, he did not at first intend to establish a new religion, but rather to reform the belief in Allah which already existed, and to show what this belief truly signified and rightfully demanded. (Mohammed: The man and his faith, Tor Andrae, 1936, Translated by Theophil Menzel, 1960, p13-30)
Atheist--Who believe there is no God.  This too are divided into many form of beliefs and more often base their reasoning on academic stance. We know for a fact that science are now discovering the truth of the Bible but some academics avoid to tie-up these discoveries from the Bible stance.
Further to this line are the Agnostics who is at the same time may believe there is a deity but largely follow certain human reasoning. The view of those who do not claim to know of the existence of any deity, but still believe in such an existence. They are sometimes classified as hardcore or soft-core agnostics.
Lukewarm (Religious Tolerance) are those who believes that all faith have good and bad in it. They believe there is a God but are not sure. They believe that all religion should join together...They are those who cries "Peace and Unity" through religious tolerance. This is to me the most dangerous of "Theology" for it does not stand on anything. It is the closest one to "Satanism". Why is that? Because here Satan can enjoy worship without them knowing. They are worldly in concept which God hated so much. That is why this form of faith has special mention in Revelation 3:16 "So, because you are lukewarm--neither hot nor cold--I am about to spit you out of my mouth."
The conflict in INTERPRETATION
I would like to focus on the Christian faith division since I am a Christian...some interprets the Bible according to their own religious practices, even goes to great length to modify the Holy Scripture to justify their error. Worse of these are considering part of the Bible as Allegory and myths like what (Saint?) Augustine do where most of Christian errors begun. Catholics was trapped in the error of Augustine who copied his reasoning from Greek philosopher rather than the Holy Bible.
There are some Christians too who claims that the Bible is not the complete instructions from God therefor aside from Old Testament and the New Testament they still have additional teachings or creed book. Catholics have their Canon Law while The Mormons had the Athanasian Creed.
A number of passages speak of the completeness of God’s word:
Jude 3 speaks of contending, "earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints." The expression "once for all" could properly be written, "one time for all time". In other words, the text indicates that there will be nothing else.
2 Peter 1:3 tells us, "as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue...". According to this verse, we now have all things we need for (eternal) life and (how to live in) godliness.
Galatians 1:6-9.  Paul wrote with great concern to the churches of Galatia about the gospel. He wrote, "I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another;"   (Galatians 1:6-8) Clearly Paul points out that there is only ONE gospel and at the time he wrote this text, that gospel had been revealed. Note his warning concerning accepting anything other than that gospel.  He said, "But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you that what you have received, let him be accursed."  He was so serious about this, that he repeated the warning of verse 8 again in verse 9.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 speaks of all inspired scripture being profitable and able to make the man of God "complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.". For this to be true, we must have the completed word of God. And we do!
Revelation 22:18-19. The book of Revelation concludes with these words, "For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will ad to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things that are written in this book."
So All three Major Religion somehow got it all wrong....that had been the reason why Jesus was crucified before. They misunderstood our Lord for fulfilling the scripture. I am sure that if Jesus would return today He will still be rejected. Abraham will NOT recognized the kind of worship his children are performing. The apostle will marvel at all the wrong traditions we are now following.
You don't believed me that Jesus second coming will be received with hostile response?
"Together they will go to war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will defeat them because he is Lord of all lords and King of all kings. And his called and chosen and faithful ones will be with him." (Rev. 17:14)
Are you among them who will welcome Jesus Christ on His return, because you recognized HIM? Now put aside your Religion and seek the scripture. I have proven to you from my earlier blogs the authenticity of the Bible, that without doubt it is the inspired word of God. Do not be ignorant and Let us all be filled with the Holy Spirit to recognized Jesus.

STOCKHOLM SYNDROME AND KIDNAPPING

A Stockholm Syndrome refers to victims becoming bonded to and even feeling compassion for and loyalty to their captors. The term came from a 1973 bank robbery in Stockholm, Sweden, in which two thieves held four bank employees hostage at gunpoint for six days inside a bank vault.
The amazing thing was, when the drama ended and the victims released "they hugged and kissed their captors, declaring their loyalty even as the kidnappers were carted off to jail" (A Brief History of Stockholm Syndrome, Time, Aug.2009)
Strange but is it unusual? In broader sense No. This kind of attitude happen to almost everyone, at least once in their lifetime, or even for the rest of their lives.  The feeling of affection to someone controlling us in spite of the bad intent (even under pressure or being afflicted with pain) are common in us.
The victim looking at the person as the one holding our survival and life itself. Thus, the victim align himself or herself with the captor out of personal survival. We had heard stories of wives being beaten by their husband or verbally abused but we rarely saw cases of a battered wife wanting the relationship to end. Most of us at certain point had succumbed to this disorder without questioning why. Some people would even stand to defend their kidnappers
The Bible tell us that, Our whole world has been held captive for several thousand of years in the hands of the evil one. In 1 John 5:19 (NIV) this is how it was written "We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one."

THE WHOLE WORLD UNDER THE EVIL ONE
The kidnappers are fallen angels (Lead by Satan) and the hostages are the human being trap in the world. We have to realized this important fact to understand the message of Jesus death. The blood of Jesus become ransom for our freedom. Matthew 20:28 " just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
When  you say ransom there is a kidnapper asking for it. So in what way the whole world is being kidnapped? In thoughts, philosophy, ideology, worldliness and even in faith.

So also, when we were children, we were in slavery under the basic principles of the world. -- Galatians 4:3
See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ.-- Colossian 2:8
Satan Had corrupted the worldview and had made the thinking of most men in sync with his. We know he is a liar and deciever that is why Paul wrote of the need for people to learn God's truth so "they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will" (2 Tim. 2:26). Contrary to what Jesus said in Matthew 6:10 "Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven" what Paul reminding us here is the former attitude we had doing the will of the devil.
Be careful, however, that the exercise of your freedom does not become a stumbling block to the weak -- 1 Cor. 8:9
Further on WORLDVIEW
Our life experiences with our Parents, Siblings, educations, media, jobs, spouses are among the tools that helped carved our "accumulated" worldviews. People don't usually questioned their personal views and when these views are challenged, they are even willing to hurt others to defend it. As we see on the global politics where Regional conflict arises because of differences in views. To challenge one's core value is like threatening one's life.
Believe it or not, as the Bible clearly reveals that the predominat world view and even faith supposedly for The Eternal God is under the dictum of Satan.
Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out. -- John 12:31
All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath. -- Ephesians 2:3
If God then is the ruler of the world there wouldn't be rampant crimes, corruptions, poverty, and inequality. It is very clear that the whole world is under "Stockholm Syndrome" influenced by the deceiver a.k.a. Satan. This fallen angel since its first human victim Adam and Eve, still enjoys the affection of  the poor victim's offspring.
The unseen kidnapper had darkened the hearts of mankind:
For this people's heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them. -- Matthew 13:15

PROPHESY THAT DIDN'T COME TO PASS

The current global trending somehow made a very significant impact both for believers and non-believers. Most especially the recent Japan earthquake coupled with the Middle east crisis one would not miss the point stressed here -- that No matter what religious affiliation or non-affiliation you had; we will both agree that we are now experiencing extra-ordinary event and that a resulting new awareness is on the process...Even a carefree individual would pause and re-think his/her beliefs.
BUT I hope people will not miss the point of all these tragedies.
As a Christian who are in constant awareness of God's words, specifically "things that are to come" or prophesies that are  taking shape in our very eyes (see The Book of Daniel, The Gospel and Revelation) we can conclude that all these are the beginning of sorrows mention by our Lord Jesus in Matthew 24 and also in Luke 21:25 about some important details...
And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; (Luke 21:25)
At one point I'm glad the global community is taking these seriously. I even saw simulation drill  being conducted in response to different type of emergency situations like evacuation exercises. What I would like to focus on this blog is the importance of a "prophesy".
Was a prophesy declared to scare us? Yes, it is written to scare us. As a father, I would often employ the same tactic to my children to prevent them from hurting themselves. The same is true why God send His prophets; like the one He told Jonah to shout out "Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown!" (Jonah 3:4)
Amazingly, the purpose of a prophesy is clearly spelled in The Book of Jonah. After many detour before Jonah (one of them is being swallowed by a big fish) finally he was able to convey God's message to the people of Nineveh. The remarkable thing is that the Ninevites obeyed God and believed. When the king of Nineveh heard the message of Jonah, he issued a National proclamation saying "...Let everyone call urgently on God. Let them
give up their evil ways and their violence. Who knows?
God may yet relent and with compassion turn from his
fierce anger so that we will not perish" (verse 5-9)
Scott Ashley, Managing editor of Good News magazine wrote "If ever a city deserved a punishment, it was Nineveh, capital of a powerful empire legendary for its cruelty. Both the Bible and many ancient records document the empire's lust for blood, plunder and slaves." (May-June 2010) So definitely God will surely destroy Nineveh. But since God is a God of fairness and Mercy, He does not punish without giving warnings. He always send warning through His prophets "I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked,
but that the wicked turn from his way and live.
Turn, turn from your evil ways!
For why should you die..." (Ezekiel 33:11)
Now what happened to the people of Nineveh after they fasted, pray, turn from their evil ways and acknowledge God? We can draw here a lesson from to the "prophesy that didn't come to pass"

"When God saw what they did and how they turned from their evil ways, he relented and did not bring on them the destruction he had threatened." -- Jonah 3:10
So, I hope as we see the unfolding of event taking shape Biblical prophesy, we must consider the actions of the Ninevites, and perhaps, God will change his mind.

RCC Pro Sexual Sin & Perversion

( I found this article while surfing the Net, This time the Article is not mine so, I hope a good faithful Catholic would stand up and react on this...I don't want my friends accusing me to be Hater of Catholics, I have many Catholic friends. I love them, but they aren't listening and so hard-headed. In fact, I don't attack just one Beliefs or focus on a Religion. I simply state what is in the Bible. )
Link to the original Article can be found at the bottom of this Article...

Cardinal Bernardin writes... On homosexuality: he says GAYS ARE CHILDREN OF GOD, that they should beloved and that Catholics ought to DEFEND THEIR RIGHTS. ... God's plan for sexuality ... is best fulfilled in a stable union... But to teach that in no way is to belittle a person who may have a homosexual orientation. Chgo SunTimes Oct. 21, 1994 p. 18 art. ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH SAYS GOD "CREATES" PEOPLE GAY

CNN News 10-1-97 reports: Roman Catholic church states that homosexuals should not be condemned. The RCC says their sexual orientation is not freely CHOSEN.
IS IT UNEXPECTED? THIS EXPLAINES ALL THE NUMEROUS PRIESTS BEING CAUGHT, SUED, AND JAILED FOR MOLESTING BOYS... ANYONE CAN LOOK TO THE WWW AND FIND HUNDREDS OF ARTICLES TO PROVE THIS AS A FACT... HERE'S JUST A "FEW"...
http://cnn.com/US/9803/28/priest.sexual.abuse.ap/index.html
And yes... The Roman Catholic Church tried to COVER UP the actions of another molesting priest! Dallas diocese "covered up" molesting priests actions! A 119 Million dollar mistake!

Funny how the Catechsim says one thing and REALITY of Catholicism is quite another.
The CCD of Catholicism is bad enough with all it's easily proven twisted Scriptures and Pagan rituals. But now I see they are using it to say they DON'T do as the REALITY says they do like some "horse outta the barn" smoke screen tactic eh? The Catechsim can say all the "moral" things it wants, fact is REAL LIFE proves that the only reason the Catechism has those things printed is so when the Church messes up BIG TIME in front of BILLIONS of eyes they can always count on the lies of their Catechism to "decieve" some of those that SAW them sin into thinking they "don't approve"
Tell ya what ... Bring your Catechism to those THOUSANDS of young boys that were molested and see how it makes them forget about the horrors their priests put them through. Or bring that book to those MILLIONS of family members in the past that SAW their loved ones burned at the stake, boiled in oil, drawn and quartered, and skinned alive. See how convincing it is to them. Do you think they will say, "Oh, look, it says here that the RCC doesn't approve of such acts, golly gee, I guess we were mistaken all along? Our loved ones really weren't being tortured in front of us." Not likely!
The RCC is doing things DAILY that proves them to be a demonic hellish slime pit of Antichristian wolves in sheeps clothing reeking havock on the poor and innocent. My only drawback is that I am but one man trying to find the time to catalog all the crud they do. The TRUTH is there is so many articles about the ridiculous Satanic antics of the RCC that i truly do not have enough time in the day or YEAR to be able to catalog them all. Plus, I am positive the ISP I  subscribe to would not allow me to jam up their 85 Gig harddrive with such crud. There are other people that want to use it you know.
To date, if you were to take what I have JUST ON LINE you would find well over 600 full size sheets of paper with numerous DOCUMENTED facts each that prove. The VATICAN is the home of SATAN. I won't even venture to guess how many volumes of info I have in my offline research that may never reach the website. I have been watching this church now 14 YEARS and let me tell you, it makes for a FEW filled filing cabinets! I just pray that one day soon the Almighty blesses me with the opportunity to make ALL of it public!

The Act Behind Ash Wednesday

[Ash Wednesday] was taken from Roman paganism, which took it from Vedic India. Ashes were called the seed of the fire god Agni, with power to forgive sins.
Ashes were said to were a symbol for the purifying blood of Shiva, in which, one could bathe away sins. During Rome's New Year Feast of Atonement in March, people wore sackcloth and bathed in ashes to atone for their sins.
As the dying god of March, Mars took his worshippers sins with him into death. The carnival fell on dies martis, the Day of Mars. In English, this was Tuesday (Martes in Filipino), because Mars was identified with the Saxon god Tiw. In French the carnival day was Mardi Gras, "Fat Tuesday," the day of merrymaking before Ash Wednesday.
Ashes are the residue of fire, and just as fire is regarded in mythology and folklore as something which purifies and also regenerates, or brings new life, so the same properties are associated within ashes.
Putting ashes on the forehead is not hinted at in the Bible
Jesus and the apostles never thought of such a thing: it was adopted from paganism. African and Indian pagan rites have involved ashes on the forehead. This man made tradition of the Catholics makes the worship of God of no effect and adds to the commandments of Jesus Christ (Matt 15:7-9; 28:18-20).

Matthew 15:7-9 (New International Version, ©2011)

7 You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you:
8 “‘These people honor me with their lips,
but their hearts are far from me.

9 They worship me in vain;

their teachings are merely human rules.

Matthew 6:16-18

16 “When you fast, do not look somber as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show others they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 17 But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, 18 so that it will not be obvious to others that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

Catholics defy the teaching of Jesus Christ in their self-righteous show of religion. And their practices are as repulsive to God as were those of the Jews (Is 1:10-15; Matt 23:1-39).
Why is the forehead chosen for ashes? The only Bible reference to men marking their foreheads, other than Pharisee tradition with phylacteries, is the mark of the anti-christ beast (Matt 23:5; Rev 13:6; 20:4). God-fearing persons would not want to follow Rome with a mark on their forehead!
Revelation 13:15-16
14And he deceives those who dwell on the earth because of the signs which it was given him to perform in the presence of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who had the wound of the sword and has come to life. 15And it was given to him to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast would even speak and cause as many as do not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16And he causes all the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead,

Lent was not observed by the first century Church, but was first addressed at the church at Rome during the Council of Nicea in A.D. 325. Any doctrine contrary to the Roman Church was considered an enemy of the state. In A.D. 360, the Laodicea church commanded Lent to be observed.

Lent’s Ancient Roots

Coming from the Anglo-Saxon Lencten, meaning “spring,” Lent originated in the ancient Babylonian mystery religion. “The forty days’ abstinence of Lent was directly borrowed from the worshippers of the Babylonian goddess…Among the Pagans this Lent seems to have been an indispensable preliminary to the great annual festival in commemoration of the death and resurrection of Tammuz” (The Two Babylons).

AMEN...

The Middle East Conflict: Written 4,000 Years Ago

Each time I would discover something relevant and that needed to be share, I  conduct a brainstorming or practice teaching it first with my eleven year old son Elijah or to my wife, I would also let Elyona (5) hear these so she would be ready after her formative years. The other day while watching the News about the crisis going on in Egypt,Libya, Bahrain and the recent earthquake in New Zealand my son ask "Papa, is the rapture going to happen this year?" I smiled but a little scared at the thought of it. I smiled because my son understood the trend of the coming tribulations base on what he heard from my lecture on Biblical prophesy.  Thinking of an answer to his question I have to dig my library; the latest event seems not to fit with what I understood about the order or non-order of future events base on my Bible research. Then, it hit me, the truth is the latest conflict in middle east reaffirms that the end is indeed near.
Aside from the earthquake in various places I have blog in Wisdom of A Fool, Strange Silence....this event shows a great deal of what lays ahead...and it is very very soon.
At the time of my writing of this blog, News headlines keep us abreast with what I call as the stirring of Nations through political or revolutionary uprisings that a few years ago seems unthinkable. We know there is tension in the Middle East with the threat of terrorism by extremist left or right. But an "inward" unrest was far from our ideas seen as a solid political landscape.we outsiders can ever imagine. Most of us theorized a more likely war would spark from anti-Jewish stand. This conflict had been around ever since history was written and is still continuing to this day. The Nation surrounding Israel hated the Jews for their claims of being the rightful owner of the title "People of God" in fact The  Bible had many references predicting a terrible fate to the Jewish state from the hands of her neighbors, to mention one is from the Book of Zechariah "And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who will heave it away will surely be cut into pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against Israel" (12:3).
This is no surprise to a Christian But the rising tension in Middle East was a prelude to the coming tribulations according to the word of God. This predictions had long been written by the Prophet Daniel through the inspiration of God more than 4,500 years ago and in great detail. Understanding the History of Israel from Bible passages and from secular sources we will understand why these tension of global scale may spark World War III.
David Fromkin described in his best seller A Peace to End All Peace, "a relatively tranquil domain in which history, like everything else, move slowly" (1989,p.25) He is not describing here America or Europe but believe it or not, a century ago the Middle East enjoy that leisurely peace in the languid  empire of the Ottoman Sultan or the Persian Shah.  So what happen to our present day volatile image of Israel, Jordan, Iraq, Syria, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia we see now?
A PEACE TO END ALL PEACE
The answer to this is simple, prior to World War I all this Nations did not exist. For centuries the Ottoman Empire ruled the entire Middle East and North Africa. The Paris Peace Conference 0f 1919-20 created the Middle East we now recognized. Transforming a quiet and relatively tranquil domain into the most dangerous neighborhood in the world
The assassination of the Austrian Archduke Franz Ferdinand ignited the greatest conflict mankind had ever known.  The British, French and Russians joined together against the Central European powers of Germany and Austria-Hungary to whom where The Ottoman Empire took sides and suffered their fate.
What is remarkable is that the collapse of The Ottoman Empire was predicted accurately more than 24 centuries before it happen. It must happen for specific Bible prophecies to be fulfilled. The Bible indicates that before the second coming of Christ, there will be a revive Jewish nation in the Holy Land again.
2,000 Years without Jewish Nation
In sixth century B.C. the Jewish Nation was held captive for 70 years by The Babylonian Empire. The Jewish Prophet Daniel had experience the entire rule of the Babylonians and even survive to see The Persian Empire conquering Babylon in 539 B.C. God revealed many great future events to Daniel and among these are His prophetic plan for Israel as well as to the gentiles (non-Jewish) who would dominate the Middle East. In fact, the Book of Daniel was in part written in Aramaic, the language of the Babylonian for those prophesy concerning the gentiles, and in Hebrew the language of the Jews, concerning prophesy for them.
The prophesy revealed that after Babylonia would come the Persian, and then to be followed by Greco-Macedonian Empire and which eventually will lead to their captivity under The Roman Empire. The 11th Chapter of Daniel show us the detailed future events after the death of Alexander the Great. How four of his generals divided his vast empire. The Bible then focuses on two of them and their successors. Ptolemy took control of what is now Egypt, while Seleucus took everything North and East of what is today Israel. This two monarch and their descendant was referred to throughout the chapter as "King of the South" and "King of the North" respectively. The book have a clear unfolding of events until verse 32, which was fulfilled in the middle of the 2nd century B.C.  The 2nd part of verse 32 up to 39 contains prophesy about the True Church set against the backdrop of the false church under the Roman Empire.
Then from here what happen? Why the prophesy stop? We will therefore consult history which tell us from A.D. 135 until 1948 there is No Jewish Nation. Much had happen in that 2000 years gap. The Ptolemaic dynasties died out with the last of the Ptolemy, Cleopatra VII, who was replaced by The Roman rule. About the Seleucid kingdom, they had long been swallowed by Rome much earlier.
The Ancient Conflict
Now the event we see unfolding are predestined to happen because it is bound to happen for the second coming of Christ. All this are being revealed now as it is written in the last part of the said book... Daniel 12:9-10 (New King James Version)
9 And he said, “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. 10 Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.
And now is the time of the end...are you one of those wicked people who do not understand? Or are you the wise who shall be made purified. We shall dissect the remaining chapters on my next blog. Maybe you can help me by reading the last chapter of the book. I will also give you an insight on The Apocalypse and where will Armageddon happen? What is Armageddon? Who is the Babylonian whore?
