The following is something I just caught during my research...still need to verify the issue and can't comment yet. I'm not sure if this is connected to the end time event as mentioned in Revelations of our Lord Jesus Christ but what I do know is that we must be prepared and informed.

Could the appearance of Elenin represent the 2nd fulfillment of Revelation 12:1-5. On September 29th the stars, moon, planets and comet Elenin are to be arrayed in the sky as John saw in Rev 12:1-5. In fact, with the exception of Elenin, the same configuration was in the sky when it is thought that Jesus was born.
- Elenin crosses the earth orbit line and is closest to the Earth on Oct. 16, 2011 - during the Feast of Tabernacles.
- By Nov. 5th, Earth will begin passing through the debris field left behind Elenin and presumably create quite a light show.
- Another alignment occurs on Nov. 23, 2011.
- The last alignments will occur on June 21, 2012 and Dec. 21, 2012.
